How is the VacationGuard^® Plan different?
It's the first Plan designed to cover the real needs of the timeshare owner. It's based on the amount of time you own or will vacation and covers maintenance dues, unit damage, and exchange fees all in one easy Plan.

This is an annual Plan?
Yes. Save Money. You no longer have to purchase coverage each trip! Just pick which amount of time you own or will use with your points for the year: Up to 60 days.

So, if I take a 3 day trip, and then a 4 day trip, I still only buy the 1-12 day Plan?
Yes. We base it on your annual expected use.

Suppose I buy more time during the year. Am I covered if my total days put me in the next ownership band?
We support the notion of more vacation. In this case, say you moved from 10 days to 20 days of ownership, you do not have to upgrade mid-year and would remain covered. You just need to buy the proper Plan at your renewal.

Do you reimburse my "points" in a claim?
We do not replace your "points". VacationGuard is unique because we reimburse your proportional dollar loss of maintenance fees and club dues in a covered claim.

How do I process my renewal?
Quickly and on line. VacationGuard is about ease of protecting your vacations while giving you control of the process.

Can I cancel it after I buy?
To give complete peace of mind, you can cancel for any reason up to 10 days after you have purchased the Plan for a full refund provided you haven't traveled on a Timeshare Trip or have incurred a loss. Any questions, call our VacationGuard service team at 866-314-9480
